An accomplished educator with over 17 years of experience with a passion for education, promoting students’ independence, learning and development. Samina has developed a deep understanding of the unique needs of young learners, believes that every child deserves a strong foundation in education and is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.
Recognised as a role model teacher by GEMS Inspection, she received the Headmaster's Award for Teacher of the Year in 2018. Additionally, she was named Teacher of the Month in September 2019 and was nominated for the Mariamma Varkey Award for Inspirational and Outstanding Teaching.
Having lived in the UAE since 2008, Samina is a mother of three boys and shares her home with a rescue dog named Echo and two cats, Lily and Gigi. She enjoys cooking and taking long road trips to explore the various emirates.
